Charity bike ride in the Ribble Valley followed by a party in the Memorial Hall.

In September 2016 a very much loved local lady died of cancer at the East Lancashire Hospice. In celebration of her life and to raise money for the Hospice her husband and sons, together with a group of local friends planned a 53 mile bike ride; she was just 53 when she died.
The ride took place on June 17th, starting and finishing at the Memorial Hall with over 100 friends and family cycling the 53 mile route over toward the coast and back. In the evening a party was held in the Hall which was a great end to a fantastic day.
